Funny Mouse Stories

You may not be aware but i have a fear to mice/rats etc. It all started back when we lived in PNG. I must of been about 5 years old. I ran to the toilet in a hurry, as my little bottom was about to sit down on the toilet seat and i was just about to do my business this tiny little brown thing comes running out of the toilet bowl. I quickly got up and ran quickly into where mum was and screamed. Now who was more scared?

Aunty Pat would offer all the MK's (missionery kids) ice blocks. She must of given James and I an ice block everytime we went over to her place. But one day she told us to get them for ourselves and there in the Freezers where theses frozen rats. YUCK! After that i don't think i every ate another thing out of her freezer. She would catch the rats for our cat Charlie, which was lovely of her to do, so Charlie would have food.

There are probably more ratty stories i could tell you. Yes theres just this one, it happened to me a few weeks back. For some reason we have had a few mice around our yard. Schultz ( our cat) had been killing them and leaving them on the back door for us. How lovely.
But to top it off, Schultz must of sneaked on into the front room. I was in the Kitchen and cooking lunch. Mum was on the phone to a friend. The kids where watching TV and playing from room to room in the house. I think i was just cooking the last thing and Victoria cames out of no where saying mummy, mummy. I looked at her. There she was in one hand holding a died mouse by its tail. She had a big smile on her face. I screamed. Victoria thought it was funny that i was screaming so she decided to swing it around and around. I screamed louder and longer and i ran quickly and flew on top of the computer desk in the corner.Mum didnt know what was going on. Victoria still thinking its a game rans after me still with the mouse in her hand. Mum thought it was so funny. Im sure she can tell you the story in a different eye view. I have a phoebia to mice/rats.

New PJ's

Thank you to Grandma and Aunty Mary, We have some lovely new PJ's.I took the Kids to Spot light to look at material for the ir PJ's.Victoria picked up the piggy material, I didnt like the idea of having Pigs, But Victoria was determined that she had to have the pigs she kept on running back and picking it up every time i would put it back. Guess who won in the end Yes Victoria did. I picked up some Thomas the Tank material and Blake said he didn't want Thomas. Now you know when your little boy is growing up when he doesn't want Thomas things anymore. So I told Blake to go and find something he would like. (Soccer, now im sure im a NRL supporter so why is my son picking up soccer material from, the influence of his Grandmother, thanks mum )

Victoria is now out off her cot. She is a great climber and going to babygym is encouraging her with her skills of climbing out of the cot. It was a bit frightening to look at her jump into her cot as she would land on her neck and than roll the rest of her body over. So it was time to get her into a bed. She absolutely loves her new bed (so does Blake, I sometimes find him in her bed).
Now bed time is much more enjoyable with new PJ's.

Playschool Concert

19th January 2007, Up early to drive up to the Hunter Valley Gardens to see Playschool concert live. If you every have been up to the Hunter Valley in Summer, you have to expect a boiling hot day. So packing lots of drinks would of been a great idea. AT 9am it felt like it was midday with the heat. If you havent been to a kids concert i highly recomment playschool. Blake is somewhere in the third photo at the front. After a hype of entertainment and meeting the cast of playschool we walked around to the Nursery Rhyme Garden. You can even have high tea with Alice in Wonderland.
